A brief discussion of some of the permissions Orange Squeeze requires:
The permission "READ PHONE STATUS AND IDENTITY" is used strictly to detect when calls are made or received so that automatic player muting will work.
The permission "MODIFY OR DELETE THE CONTENTS OF YOUR USB STORAGE MODIFY OR DELETE THE CONTENTS OF YOUR SD CARD" allows the app to download tracks to your external storage and also place the application's artwork cache on the external storage.
The permission "FULL NETWORK ACCESS" allows the app to connect to either mysqueezebox.com or your local Logitech Media Server installation.
This release is optimized for phone and mid-size tablet devices like the Nexus 7. It will work great on a larger tablet like the Samsung GalaxyTab 10.1 and the beautiful new Nexus 10, but it has not been optimized for them.
Tested in-house on the original Google Nexus One, Galaxy Nexus, and Nexus 7. Supported on all Android devices running 2.1 and higher.
Note that artwork in the screenshots has been intentionally pixelated. Your artwork will show up crystal-clear!

Great Squeezbox app but... Excellent app, which follows the Android design guidelines, so it's extremely slick ! I didn't test the download of songs but that sounds great ! A few things missing though: - Cannot modify the settings of a Squeezebox from the app (alarm clock, etc.), it's a big miss (or I couldn't find it) - the Now Playing should appear in the Notification Bar like other players. That's for the 5th star ;)

good job very nice app. home screen shortcuts would make it perfect. for example shorcuts to favorite radios/playlist. Another great killer feature would be the ability to cache selected playlists on phone for remote offline listening.

Pas de possibilité d'enregistrer! N'enregistre pas contrairement a ce qu'il y a écrit il faudrait pour cela acheter encore l'application Squeeze Player . Je suis déçue...
